Wedding skin care tips If you want your skin to glow on your wedding day but dont know how to improve it, read on as Bharti Vyas shares her skin tips. By using holistic therapy, an age old Asian method to improve skin, your skin's appearance can change dramtically.

Polish those dead cells away

It’s highly likely that for most of the winter we have kept our bodies under wraps. As a result the skin’s tone can often look dull, pigmented and uneven. This is caused by a build up of dead cells and a sluggish circulatory system. The best way to help your body is to get rid of those dead cells is by polishing your face and body on a daily basis.

The BVM Body polisher (£22.99 200ml) doubles up as a body cleanser and polisher. It contains jojoba spheres, which polish the skin. Massage it in using the palms of your hands in large deep upward motions. This will help stimulate the circulation, clean the skin and help remove dead cells. Then rinse off, dry and apply the Ultimate Therapy Body Lotion. (£16.99 200ml). The Face and Neck polisher (£21.99 125ml), which contain jojoba spheres, neroli oil, and capsicum oil gently polishes the skin creating a vibrant healthy looking complexion with shine and radiance, while also cleansing the skin and removing dead cells.

Salon alternative

As well as polishing, I recommend a monthly microdermabrasion facial. Micro dermabrasion is an accelerated form of skin exfoliation in which minute crystals are blasted onto the skin. It acts as a vacuum cleaner and allows new healthier cells to come through faster; making it excellent for treating dull, pigmented and post acne scarred skin as well as spotty skin. The BVM microdermabrasion Facial (prices start at £50) uses micro dermabrasion alongside hands on acu-lymphatic massage to give the skin therapy from within. Vital acupressure points are stimulated whilst the hands on lymphatic massage helps drain away trapped waste and toxins. So, ultimately, your skin will be looking and feeling re vitalised from the inside out.
